I don't know the logic followed in determining where and when they go. If scenery is set to extremely dense additional vehicular traffic will appear on airports. I really thank you for the reply but unfortunatly it seems the problem has nothing to do with affinity mask or the cpu in general. Posted JIf you add vehicle parking on the airport, fuel trucks will appear, and they will use the paths to travel to AI and user aircraft. NOTE: If you stream your flights, then the Processor and Affinity Mask setting is a horse of a different color and the above settings might not provide the best overall performance. The AVSIM Setup Guide has more information on this topic. Some believe it's best to run FSX with Hyper-threading Disabled, however it's been my experience with i7 processors that it makes no difference providing you have at least 4 processor threads devoted to FSX (Core 0 will always run FSX regardless of what your Affinity Mask setting is). You can tell if Hyper-threading is Enabled or Disabled by bringing up the Task Manager and counting the number of processor thread windows there are. I believe Hyper-threading is ENABLED in the BIOS as default.ġ4 = 1110 (4 processing threads, so Hyper-threading is Disabled)Ģ54 = 11111100 (8 processing threads, so Hyper-threading is Enabled) ![]() If you're running with Hyper threading Enabled then 14 isn't the correct setting for you.
